Bar Oliver, a vibrant restaurant in New York City, is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team for lunch shifts . We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences and are looking for someone who shares our passion for quality and excellence.Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.- Ensure the highest quality and presentation of dishes before they reach our guests.- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.- Assist in inventory management and notify the Head Chef of any shortages.- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.Requirements:- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant setting.- Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.- Culinary school diploma is a plus but not required.Benefits:- Competitive salary and opportunities for advancement.- Employee meals during shifts.- Supportive and inclusive work environment.- Opportunities for professional development and learning.If you are passionate about cooking and eager to be part of a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
