Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on our diesel-powered school buses and/or motor coaches. The ideal mechanic will have a strong background in diesel engine systems and heavy equipment maintenance. As a mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring our fleet runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Mechanic Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and heavy equipment. Diagnose and repair engine and transmission systems. Conduct safety checks and ensure equipment compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of all service and repair work. Participate in scheduled maintenance and repair projects.

Mechanic Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic. Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and heavy equipment. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license is required, and, must either possess a CDL or have the ability to obtain a CDL license (required) ASE Certifications (preferred) Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.

Mechanic Pay:
