Our more than 6,000 employees are proud to work at our state-of-the-art sawmills and other facilities, including: manufacturing, custom wood-framed windows, fabrication, millwork, veneer, cogeneration, trucking, forestry, and other operations.Currently, we are seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic for our trucking division based in Lincoln, California.About the PositionPerform preventative and routine maintenance on diesel trucks, pickup trucks, log trailers, and semi-trailersTroubleshoot and repair mechanical defectsConduct safety inspections of vehicles and maintain maintenance recordsOperate equipment as neededPerform duties in a timely and efficient mannerMaintain work area appearance and safetyWork may consist of day or swing-shift, with some overtime, weekend, and holiday work during busy production timesQualifications 1 year of diesel mechanic experience or educational equivalentProven prior experience working the above-mentioned vehicles requiredKnowledge of Cummins Insite and Davie diagnostic tools a plusPreference given to applicants with fabrication and metal work experienceWorking knowledge of both gasoline and diesel enginesAll applicants must be at least age 18Why Join Our Team?
