Kenwood Country Club, a private country club located in Madeira is actively recruiting energetic people to join our Aquatics team. Are you interested in working in a fun, fast paced environment where each person is encouraged to create memories? As a top ranked Country Club, we believe service begins with our Staff Members. This is a hands-on position that will provide you great responsibility and confidence for the future. Qualifications Candidates must be lifeguard certified or will receive their certification prior to employment Only candidates available from Memorial Day to Labor Day will be considered The minimum age of this position is 16 years old You must have reliable transportation Observe and monitor all swimming activities You must be able to work as a team player Ability to work in varying temperatures Ability to life 25 lbs. All Lifeguards must have a thorough knowledge of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques, be able to recognize and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and enforce all aquatic facility rules and regulations. You will be required to treat all members, guests, and Employee Partners with dignity and respect. Lifeguards will be provided with a uniform and during shifts a meal break with a Club provided meal. ALL LIFEGUARDS ARE REQUIRED TO WORK SOME EVENINGS, WEEK-ENDS and HOLIDAYS. Seasonal Bonus available paid only to those employees who work through Labor Day.
