Lead Electrical Engineer – Power System AnalysisFull-time | Leadership Track | Commercial Projects We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Power System Analysis to join our growing engineering team. This position offers the opportunity to take on a leadership role with a clear path toward Director of Engineering as the firm expands. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with proven leadership skills and a passion for mentoring the next generation of engineers. What You’ll Do Perform detailed power system analyses, including short circuit, load flow, coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop calculations. Develop electrical system models using software such as ETAP, SKM Power Tools, or EasyPower. Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions. Provide quality control and peer reviews for electrical designs and studies. Mentor and train junior engineers, offering guidance on best practices, analysis methods, and project execution. Lead client meetings, contribute to proposal development, and represent the team as a technical expert. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. 7+ years of electrical design experience with a strong focus on power systems for commercial buildings. Proficiency in SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or EasyPower. PE license or EIT with the ability to obtain PE shortly after hire. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior staff. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
