Learn more at and .Lathe CNC Machinist Position SummaryThe Lathe CNC Machinist operates CNC machines to support the manufacture of components and devices for the medical device industry.Shifts Available: 4th Shift Friday - Sunday 5:00 am - 5:00 pmSign-On Bonus Available: $1,000-$3,000 dependent on level of experience Responsibilities Lathe CNC Machinist Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperate Lathe CNC machinesPerform quality inspection on completed partsPerform preventative maintenance on Lathe CNC machines to ensure consistent machine performanceComplete tool changes Qualifications Lathe CNC Machinist Position RequirementsOperator experience with Lathe CNC machinesStrong math background, preferable in machine math/shop mathUnderstanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Ability to read and interpret blueprintsExperience using a microscopeAbility to read measurement equipment such as micrometer, caliper, pressure micrometerLathe CNC Machinist Preferred Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMachining experience with medical components, devices, or instrumentsPrevious experience with tight tolerancesProgramming experience with Lathe CNC MachinesExperience with set-up on Lathe CNC MachinesExperience in troubleshooting of Lathe CNC Machinesrms Company Benefits As a Cretex Medical company, rms offers a full benefit package to its employees.
