Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Defense Sector in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.18 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the aerospace and defense facility, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns within the location to appropriate personnel.Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials when required.Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal and site management.Collaborate with site staff and local authorities as needed to support security-related operations and/or emergency response efforts.Minimum Requirements:A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.One or more of the following is required: at least one year of law enforcement experience, two or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or three or more years of security-related experience.Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.CPR certification is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
