If you have a passion for glasswork and are willing to roll up your sleeves and dive in, we'd like to hear from you.Responsibilities:Auto Glass Assistance: Assist in repairing and replacing auto glass under the guidance of experienced professionals.Residential Glass Support: Learn the ropes of installing and repairing residential glass, contributing to the team's efforts in enhancing homes.Commercial Glass Exposure: Gain exposure to commercial glass services, such as storefronts and glass partitions, by working alongside skilled professionals.Shower Enclosure Training: Receive training in crafting and installing shower enclosures, gradually developing expertise in this area.Precise Measurements: Learn the art of taking precise measurements, a critical skill for successful glass installations.Glass Handling: Familiarize yourself with proper glass handling techniques to ensure safety and minimize breakage.Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and instructions closely to maintain a safe working environment.Quality Support: Assist in inspecting completed installations for quality assurance and assist in making necessary adjustments.Customer Interaction: Observe customer interactions and develop communication skills for addressing questions and concerns professionally.Learning Curve: Be open to learning and staying curious about new glass materials, technologies, and industry trends.Qualifications:No prior professional experience is required, but a genuine interest in the field of glasswork is a must.Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced team members.Basic understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to following them.Good communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.Detail-oriented mindset with a dedication to producing quality work.Ability to work as part of a team and adapt to new challenges.A valid driver's license is required.Job Hours:7:45 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday8:00 AM to 12 PM every other SaturdayPay Range:$14.00 - $16.00 an hour + commissions If you're excited to embark on a career in the world of glass, this Entry-Level Glass Specialist position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and build a foundation in this fascinating field.
