Overview Lifeway is seeking a Customer Analytics & Insights Intern who will contribute to our mission while learning data science skills in data management, machine learning, and data visualization. You will build technical skills in coding as well as project management skills through this engagement. Interning at Lifeway The Lifeway Internship Program is designed to provide college students and recent college graduates a valuable learning experience where they can grow professionally, personally, and spiritually. Our internships offer significantly more than “busy work.” As an intern, you’ll receive professional development and leadership training, exposure to senior leaders, and mentoring relationships with professionals in your field. Internship Program Details/Requirements Lifeway’s summer internship program offers a competitive hourly pay rate, all necessary equipment will be provided Interns work 32 hours per week on average with Tuesday - Thursday as required core workdays Interns must commit to participate in the entirety of the program: June 3 - August 9, 2024 (10 weeks) Candidates must be currently enrolled at a college or university in an undergraduate or graduate program, and have fully completed at least two years of study. Recent graduates are eligible if they graduated the semester immediately prior (December 2023 or May 2024 graduates only) Interns will receive development each week Interns will work remotely throughout the program with the exception of orientation and end-of-summer presentations. Lifeway will cover the cost of travel to Nashville Internship applications are due by January 15, we will begin interviews once the applications are closed. Selections are finalized by April 1 This is a remote position in the U.S. with travel to Nashville at the beginning and end of the summer, cost for travel is covered by Lifeway. Responsibilities Play a critical role in transferring data Develop customized visualization tools for performance evaluation and forecasting Maintain our data pipelines Deploy a new data science model into production Qualifications Live out , showing deep commitment to Kingdom work Major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analysis or a related field Knowledge of predictive analytics, computer programming with SAS or other high-level languages, SQL, visualization, scripting (one or more common languages e.g., Python and R), statistics (descriptive and inferential), and data visualization Familiarity with Microsoft 365 preferred Options Sorry
