Job Details Division: Nucor Warehouse Systems Location: Monroe, GA, United States Other Available Locations: N/A Basic Job Functions: Nucor Warehouse Systems - Monroe is seeking applicants for Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will safely provide support to the Monroe team by: Being a leader in safety. Ensuring spare parts are identified and available. Grow the Preventive/Predictive Maintenance program. Serves as a technical expert for Maintenance Technicians and Operations. Proactively identify work to be performed in order to minimize downtime. Proactively identify opportunities to improve equipment performance. Prepare jobs to be performed during schedule and unscheduled down time. Works hands on with the team to execute jobs. Ensure work is executed with a high level of quality and workmanship. Minimum Qualifications: Two-year technical degree and/or a minimum of 5 year's experience in industrial maintenance. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including scheduled and unscheduled overtime, rotating shifts, and off shifts. Must be able to develop LOTO procedures, train the team on our LOTO policy and practice. Must be able to demonstrate proper communication skills with all departments. Preferred Qualifications: Mechanical and Electrical maintenance experience. Excellent knowledge of LOTOTO . Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Able to read and understand Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic drawings.
