Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst Developer Job ID: 25-10882 Location: Trenton, NJ Duration: 06 Months On Contract As a member of the Data Analytics, Research and Statistics Team, the candidate will extract, analyze, and integrate or join data from various systems to assist lines of business with analytical reports. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working closely with Research Analysts to assist with conducting data analysis to make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will also conduct data extraction via SQL, App Studio, and Web Focus as well as prepare and document data requirements and conduct data validation for the automation of data extractions to be used in analytics. The candidate will have experience in designing new data warehouse structures to meet business needs. This position requires two days in the office: Tues/Wed and three days remote. The candidate must: Use excellent communication skills, work closely with lines of business, including Research Analysts to address data needs for analytics. Be proficient in SQL, App Studio, and Web Focus Analyze raw system data. Mine large datasets and draw valid inferences and actionable insights using statistical methods. Use SQL, App Studio, and Web Focus to extract data from large and complex data warehouses and conduct analysis to ensure the proper data is available to support business needs. Be able to link tables together Align data attributes across disparate systems to ensure common connection points are utilized when joining or integrating data sets. Work with technical teams to identify data sources. Prepare data requirements, data models, and transformation rules for new data warehouse structures, including summary information optimized for analytics. Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of data-related processes. Create test cases and perform quality validation of data warehouse content to ensure accuracy. Create data flow diagrams to illustrate data lineage and mapping from the data warehouse to end-point publication. Analyze code in BI tools (e.g., Web Focus, Tableau) to determine data usage and assist with determining the data usage accuracy. Conduct data profiling to identify data quality issues and work with Business and IT teams to resolve the issues. Qualifications: They must be able to compare actual project procedures to the specified standards and procedures. They should be able to demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevant technologies in the Web Focus processes. They must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to collaborate with internal and external groups including vendors. Skill Required: Experience working closely with lines of business, including Research Analysts to address data needs for analytics Required 5 Years Experience with analyzing raw system data Required 5 Years Experience with mining large datasets and drawing actionable insights using statistical methods. Required 5 Years Experience extracting data from large, complex data warehouse Required 5 Years Exp preparing data reqs, data models and transformation rules for new data warehouse structures, incl. summary info optimized for analytics Required 5 Years Proficiency in SQL Required 5 Years Experience conducting data profiling to identify data quality issues and work with the Business and IT teams to resolve issues Required 5 Years Experience creating data flow diagrams to illustrate data lineage and mapping from data warehouse to end point publication Required 5 Years Experience in DB2 server client skills Required 5 Years Experience preparing data for use in Tableau Highly desired 3 Years Experience creating data extracts and reports using WebFocus InfoAssist and the most recent and relevant technologies in the WebFocus processes. Required 3 Years Knowledge of AppStudio and the ability to use it to code reports Required 3 Years. Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is between $62.00 - $68.00 per hour.
