Packing and Shipping Associate Location: Columbia, MD Schedule: Monday – Friday | Mon - Fri 3PM – 11PM (Training on 1st shift 9am – 5pm first 1-3 weeks but MUST be willing to go to 2nd shift) Pay: $16 – $18/hr (depending on experience) Overview for the Packing and Shipping Associate:  We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packing and Shipping Associates to join our team in Columbia, MD. This entry-level warehouse position focuses on picking and packing smaller inventory items such as greeting cards, envelopes, boxes, office supplies, and printed products from our production facility. Whether you’re new to warehouse or production work or have prior experience, we offer opportunities to learn new skills, cross-train in different areas, and grow within the organization. If you are motivated, dependable, and ready to join a growing facility, we encourage you to apply today Responsibilities for the Packing and Shipping Associate: Pick and pack small inventory items and printed products accurately Perform final inspections to ensure quality and accuracy before shipping Weigh, label, and prepare items for shipment or storage Maintain accurate records of packed and shipped items Identify defective items and follow proper procedures for disposal Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area Assist with stock replenishment or other warehouse tasks as neededQualifications for the Packing and Shipping Associate: Strong attention to detail with ability to multitask Good organizational and communication skills Dependable and able to work well in a team environment Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, or crouching for long periods Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 70 lbs regularly Must have reliable transportation to and from workWhat We Offer for the Packing and Shipping Associate: Full-time opportunities with weekly pay On-the-job training and cross-training in multiple functions Paid time off and growth opportunities within the company Positive, team-oriented work environmentPeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs across 8 states.
