Position: Commercial Electrician? Location: Jacksonville, FL? Pay Rate: $36–$40 per hour (DOE)? Hours: 40–50 per week with some occasional Saturday'sKey ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in commercial buildings.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Bend, cut, thread, and install EMT conduit (½"–1") using hand and mechanical benders. Pull wire and cable through conduit and electrical raceways. Install electrical panels, circuit breakers, switches, outlets, and lighting systems. Test electrical systems using multimeters and circuit testers to ensure safety and functionality. Adhere to local and national electrical codes, OSHA regulations, and company safety policies. Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to complete projects on schedule. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Valid state-issued Journeyman or Master Electrician license (if required by location). Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial electrician. Skilled in EMT conduit bending and installation (½"–1") with precision. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from ladders or lifts. Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Preferred OSHA 10 or 30 Certification. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
