Here is where we need you most: Revenue Accountant: Ability to read complex contracts/agreements and identify pertinent terms and issues in order to apply appropriate accounting guidance and propose solutions within the Company's revenue recognition policy and in line with ASC 606 Ensure revenue is booked accurately and in accordance to US GAAP guidelines under ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers Participate in client implementation calls to facilitate the launch of new programs Assist in and review accounting for complex revenue recognition transactions Review and assist in managing the bill on issuance process Provide accounting support for the inventory processes Understand the accounting for the various types and flows of inventory to assist in solving inventory related issues. Identify and help drive process improvements that support scaling the business including implementing system functionality Participate in system testing and audit of transactions Assist in the monthly close, including significant technical work with revenue, deferred revenue, inventory and balance sheet reconciliations Participate in ad hoc finance and accounting related projects as needed Preparation of revenue related schedules for external auditors Job Requirements Background Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field Certified Public Accountant preferred 3+ years total experience Software (SaaS) industry experience highly preferred Public accounting experience preferred Knowledge of SAP is a plus Proficient in Excel and other MS Office software The ability to quickly learn technical guidance and apply to internal processes Proven experience working in a dynamic team focused on meeting deadlines Strong project management skills
