Our systems are supported by staff throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Malaysia, and China.Primary Objective of Position:The Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful planning and execution of each project. They are the main customer contact throughout the project from the incoming order to post-delivery support and will be required to develop and maintain good working relationships both with the customer and between the various departments. This will include the planning and management of the scope of work, schedule, open items, documentation, and budget.Major Areas of Accountability:Provide direction and control for multi-disciplinary project teams. This includes all phases of the project from system design, integration, buy off/acceptance and factory installationFoster strong customer relationships through good communication throughout the project lifecycle. Update the customer as required on project progress, scope, open issues, schedule, and technical issues Prepare and maintain the project budget based on the quotation, any Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and all customer Purchase OrdersPrepare and maintain the project schedule – for both internal and customer use, including coordination of all CCI customer deliverables. Ensure that all project deliverables are complete and delivered as per scheduleAssist department managers in manpower planning for their project(s)Monitor and maintain the financial success of the project by tracking all material and labor costs throughout the project lifecycle and adjusting as required Continually review scope of work for any possible risk items; develop, initiate, and monitor any risk mitigation plansContinuously monitor all project resources to ensure the project remains on target from a cost, scope, schedule, and technical perspectiveMonitor the procurement process to ensure that materials are delivered as per current project scheduleSchedule and manage all design reviews to ensure that the work is executed in a timely fashion and that the resultant designs meet scope, cost, and schedule requirementsProvide regular job status reviews to managementSupport the sales process for assigned accounts by interfacing with customers to clarify the RFQ and the resulting proposal in coordination with Outside SalesProvide support to the Applications Engineering group in developing proposals for assigned accounts, including defining the scope of effort and initial design concept. Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline and or equivalent experienceA minimum of 2 years of relevant Project experience preferably in a test and development environment.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Basic technical knowledge including broad understanding of electrical, software and mechanical engineering conceptsBasic understanding of commercial aspects of contract engineeringProficient in influencing, negotiating and relationship building skillsGood communication skills; able to articulate the benefits and preferences of each productPrioritization/organization of work and multi-tasking skills are critical to this positionCapacity to deal with a high workload and under pressure of meeting deadlinesExcellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteRequires a strong initiative, proactive nature, and a sense of urgencyMaintains confidentiality and security of intellectual property (CUI-ITAR, Prototype).Physical Requirements (these physical requirements must be performed with or without accommodation):Majority of time is spent in usual office working conditionsAbility to sit for extended lengths of time is required; bend, reach, stoop, and twist as requiredUse of an office computer for completing workLimited exposure to a manufacturing area which may entail exposure to dirt, dust, and other attributes common to this environmentAbility to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. occasionallyMinimal travel may be required (less than 5%)This job description reflects management’s assignment of key responsibilities; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without needing sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H1B status).The salary range is $75,000 - $125,000. Compensation includes base salary and performance-based quarterly profit sharing. Individual base pay is based on various factors, including work location, relevant experience and skills, the responsibility of the role, and job duties/requirements. The listed range represent the full earning potential in this position. Starting salaries for well-qualified new hires are typically around the midpoint of the range. The range was determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable, consistent, and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation annually, identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed. Base pay is only one element of an employee's total compensation at Circuit Check. Employees (and their dependents in most plans) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, short- and long-term disability and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Employees are able to enroll in Circuit Check’s 401k plan, in which the Company will match 50% of your contributions up to 6% with a maximum contribution. Paid time off includes vacation and sick time along with paid holidays.
