This dynamic role allows qualified tradespeople to perform multi-disciplinary tasks across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. The GMM ensures safe, efficient maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment while upholding high safety and performance standards.Typical duties include but are not limited to: Perform multi-trade maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical repairsInspect and service mechanical systems such as boilers, pumps, motors, and fixtures using hand and power toolsOperate heavy equipment and rigging devices safely for facility upkeep and machinery handlingRespond to emergency maintenance calls and assist with seasonal tasks like snow removal and landscapingRead technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to complete repairs accurately and efficientlyUse mobile devices for timekeeping, work order tracking, and inventory managementCollaborate with other trades while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining professional conduct across all assignmentsQualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in general maintenance or a skilled tradeCompletion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training in one or more trades preferredMust have experience as an electrician, plumber/fitter, carpenter, or HVAC mechanicAbility to perform physically demanding tasks and operate heavy equipment safelyProficiency in reading technical documents and using digital work management toolPhysical Requirements:Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance.
