Responsible for providing high-end customer service and store support, our Retail Management staff are knowledgeable representatives of our brand and culture inside our retail stores ready to assist with any of our customers’ questions and provide premium products.Come join the Keystone Team for a first of its kind experience for Vail Resorts. Join the leadership team of our first shop in the shop location. We will be completely transforming Keystone Sports into four distinct stores plus a tune shop. This location will have all four stores connected to one another and all share one inventory. It will serve as your one stop shop for skiing and snowboarding Hardgoods, custom boot fitting, Goggles, Clothing, accessories and tuning. Come be apart of our opening season of this new concept. Job Specifications:Starting Wage: $25.00/hr - $28.04/hrEmployment Type: Year Round (11-month)Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours availableMinimum Age: At least 18 years of ageHousing Availability: No Job Responsibilities:Lead daily operations, monitoring performance and budget including scheduling and payroll; act as manager-on-duty in the absence of a Store ManagerMaintain daily store records for performance, sales metrics, inventory control and equipment rentals (if applicable)Train employees in POS system operation, product knowledge, guest service, sales techniques and loss prevention policies and proceduresMonitor team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition or correction action if necessaryMaintain up-to-date product knowledge and provide excellent customer service through timely response to customer questions, suggestions, complaints, and recognitionParticipate with leadership forums providing feedback and input on store performance, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.Other duties as assigned, including specialty areas like merchandising and rentals Job Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED Equivalent; Business area training or education preferred2+ years of retail supervisor experience; ski industry preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, multitask and manage multiple customersAbility to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekendsMust be able to communicate fluently in English. Preferred:Experience working in a brand specific storeExperience selling Skis, Snowboards and Boots.Spanish as a second language. The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $28.04/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
