Walterboro is part of the beautiful South Carolina Lowcountry, offering a serene environment with plenty of attractions. Our facility is recognized for creating a supportive and collaborative team atmosphere, ensuring a positive work environment for all our staff members. The position demands working with students from grades 2nd through 5th, including a low incidence class with both verbal and nonverbal students, and two students with physical disabilities who communicate via eye gaze. You'll be responsible for managing a total caseload of 37 students. Enjoy working weekdays from Monday to Friday with a weekly pay cycle. However, compensation is based only on hours worked, excluding school holidays or closures due to teacher workshops and inclement weather. Note that this position does not accommodate telecommuting.
