As a GL Accountant at Tessenderlo Kerley, you will have the opportunity to engage with a dynamic team and contribute to our financial accuracy and integrity.
As a GL Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
Executing monthly accounting tasks such as accruals, journal entries and general ledger reconciliations using SAP. Assisting with month-end close processes and enhancing workflow efficiencies. Managing payroll accounting duties and reconciliations, including analysis related to various incentive plans. Participating in the implementation of accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS) and policy updates. Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial reports and transaction analysis. Reconciling corporate transactions, including credit cards, daily banking activities and treasury operations. Conducting SG&A expense reviews to identify budget variances. Providing analytical support for special projects and internal reporting. Supporting annual audits and financial information management. Innovating and recommending process improvements to enhance our accounting practices.Qualifications
Who You Are:
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have at least three years of relevant experience. You are proficient with SAP or similar ERP systems, and you're an Excel power user. Your accounting knowledge spans standards, processes, reporting and systems. You demonstrate advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and pay high attention to detail. You are a strong communicator, capable of working effectively in a diverse team environment. You possess a proactive, hands-on approach and a resilient, can-do attitude. You are comfortable and able to be onsite- 5 days a week.Additional Information
