PRN - Occupational Therapy Assistant - Inpatient Rehab

Summary rehabilitation team consists of PTs, PTAs, OTs, COTAs, and SLPs who work collaboratively to provide excellent patient care in our 230-bed acute care hospital and 18 bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. Our therapist are all cross trained to cover both areas of therapy and have the opportunity to see a patient progress across the continuum of care from the acute setting to the inpatient rehab settings. We also have a dynamic joint program that allows our therapists to see our joint patients on post-operative day one and assist the patient in achieving their goals quickly and effectively. We are looking for highly qualified and motivated therapists to join our team in providing excellent patient care that aligns with our mission and vision. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides direct patient care services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and understands treatment plan and procedure modifications. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for documentation of patient treatments, patient charges, and other information as needed. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is also responsible for the supervision of ancillary staff. He/she participates in community presentations, staff education, and other departmental activities as requested by the supervisor, manager or director. Minimum Requirements Education Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy Experience N/A Licenses/Registrations/ Certifications SC COTA License Registered with NBCOT CPR-AHA BLS Preferred Requirements Preferred Education N/A Preferred Experience One to five (1-5) years clinical experience Preferred License/Registrations/Certifications N/A
