Overview Location: 3385 Mariner Blvd Spring Hill FL 34609Schedule: As Needed, Monday–FridayPay: $30/hrSelect Physical Therapy is seeking a per diem COTA with at least 2 years of hand therapy experience to support our outpatient clinic. You’ll treat upper extremity conditions including tendon injuries, sprains, and post-op fractures, working alongside experienced hand therapists and orthopedic surgeons.We offer a collaborative team environment, access to fully equipped clinics, and support from a growing national hand therapy program.Apply today to join a team committed to quality care and professional growth. Responsibilities Under the direction of the licensed occupational therapist, optimize the functional abilities and skills of patients.Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable componentsEnsure delivery of high-quality patient care services.Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goalsEnsure proper documentation of patient care.Maintain professional standards through compliance with quality assurance policies/ procedures as well as applicable regulations and corporate policies Qualifications Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) programNational registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIREDMust have previous 1 year experience working with hand therapy patients. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificationValid state driver’s license Additional Data Fostering Well-Being: We offer benefits which support the financial, work/life and emotional well-being of you and your family members.
