Cardiac Anesthesia Technologist 

Qualifications: 

  • Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program. 
    • National ASATT certification. 
      • CPR/BLS certification required. 
        • Three years of experience, preferably in cardiac anesthesia. 
          • Familiarity with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) probes and cardiac monitoring. 
            • Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance. 

Duties: 

  • Assists with anesthesia in cardiovascular and open-heart procedures. 
    • Prepares and calibrates anesthesia equipment for cardiac surgeries. 
      • Supports anesthesiologists with invasive procedures, including arterial line placements. 
        • Ensures sterility of TEE probes and cardiac monitoring tools. 
          • Manages cardiac anesthesia supplies and stock levels.
