Estimator Job Descriptiongpac, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Commercial Construction Industry. This company has a great reputation for building high-quality commercial spaces and has an excellent culture of teamwork and professional growth.We are seeking a Estimator who will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for projects ranging from small renovations to large commercial construction projects. This is an amazing opportunity for a candidate with experience in estimating, cost analysis, and project management to join a top construction company.Estimator Responsibilities:- Develop project cost estimates based on project blueprints, specifications, and scope of work- Analyze, interpret and calculate all direct and indirect costs related to the project- Identify and anticipate project risks and profitability opportunities- Collaborate with the project management and construction teams to ensure estimates reflect project scope accurately- Maintain communication with project stakeholders throughout the estimating processEstimator Essential Job Functions:- Analyze project plans and drawings to identify potential construction issues- Review and analyze project specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements- Conduct and/or participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings- Create and maintain detailed cost estimates for each project- Prepare bid packages, including detailed cost breakdowns and supporting documentationEstimator Skills:- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment- Familiarity with construction software such as On-Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environmentEstimator Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 per year depending on experience.Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).Apply today for Commercial Construction Estimator by sending your resume to Linnae.Ittermangogpac or call 605-789-2069 for additional information.
