As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an educational environment, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Position Type: Full TimeBenefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance Pay Rate: $18.40 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeWed08:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur08:00 PM - 06:00 AMFri08:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat08:00 PM - 06:00 AMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the educational environment.Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns encountered during patrols.Assist students, faculty, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.Collaborate with campus staff and Allied Universal management to address site-specific security-related needs and/or concerns.Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters observed during shifts.Minimum Requirements:Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
