ResponsibilitiesDo you have experience operating small machinery – including power and hand tools? Are you experienced working with cleaning chemicals? If so, we are looking for you to join our team as a Porter / Helper C Janitor at our affordable housing community in Parkway Gardens Apartments in Chicago, IL.WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A PORTERPerform upkeep and janitorial duties so that your property is always in great condition, demonstrating pride in your building and grounds.Learn new skills and work closely with the maintenance team on small repairs and preventative activities. Engage in minor maintenance work in coordination with building maintenance team. Assist in preparation of vacant units with maintenance team.Provide excellent customer service to residents while performing job duties.Inspect property and equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality.
