Our goal is to create an environment where innovation thrives, with office-based teams coming together four days a week to collaborate and thrive, togetherOur Vision for this RoleAs the Procurement Manager, you will focus on Restaurant Maintenance & Repair (M&R) and will be responsible for sourcing, category management and tactical purchasing activities across multiple areas of spend in collaboration with operations and cross-functional team members.What We Will Accomplish TogetherIdentifying & Realizing Cost-improvement OpportunitiesDeveloping and executing purchasing strategies for goods and services by conducting opportunity assessments, benchmarking, cost modeling and root cause analysisBuilding & Managing RelationshipsManaging vendor relationships to maximize value and mitigate risk to the businessBuilding, maintaining and growing effective relationships across the enterpriseElevating Team & Organizational EffectivenessActing as a business partner in support of strengthening market-level & Support Center operationsLeveraging a continuous improvement focus to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement teamLeading and mentoring associates, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Maintaining clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and team members, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned with departmental goals.A Little About YouYou should be a creative, critical thinker with advanced problem-solving and sound decision-making abilitiesYou should be able to demonstrate analytical ability and have a sharp eye for numerical detail and ability to understand and discuss potential financial outcomesYou should be a results-oriented, “hands-on” individual with a high attention to detailYou should be able to influence outcomes, without direct authority, building a high-level of credibility in the processYou should have effective communication skills and experience partnering with various levels of the organizationYou should have the openness to change, resilience and comfort with ambiguity in a high-energy, fast paced industry. What You HaveYou should have 5-7 years of general procurement experience with 3-5 years directly managing Facilities and/or Construction categoriesYou should have 3-5 years of contract management experienceIf you have restaurant and/or foodservice experience, it is preferredYou should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferredIf you have any professional certification(s), it is preferred (i.e. CRFP, CPSM, APICS)Project management skills are desiredYou should be highly proficient in Office 365 environment, SAP experience a plusFinally, you should bring an excellent sense of humor to the table – we like to have FUNWhy Work For Flynn?Flynn Group offers a variety of benefits and perks to encourage and empower our employees.
