Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of technicians and engineers, you will build human-rated orbital launch vehicles.In this role, you will directly lead and supervise technicians and coordinate additional teammates such as manufacturing engineers, quality personnel, production controllers, schedulers, etc. You will have ultimate and full responsibility for guiding your crew with the assembly and test of the GS2 Upper Stage Vehicle.We are building a road to space, and a rocket that approximates the size of the Saturn V. Make hiring recommendationsDevelop and implement process, efficiency, and continuous safety improvementsResponsible for prioritizing and establishment of Work Center assignments, employee training, overtime assignments and back-up for absent employeesMaintain all shop programs including Safety, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Clean as you go programsQualifications:Passion. This will include extended hours and weekends and all shifts when vital.
