Position Summary Seeking an experienced clinical RN with at least 5 years of experience in Oncology and Hematology to work alongside Bedside nurses on our Oncology unit. This role is day shift, Monday-Friday. Must have BSN. Must have a national certification or open to attaining one within 6 months. The incumbent will need to have leadership experience, a strong clinical skill set in oncology, change agent mentality, and passion for quality and safety. Strong clinical experience along with education, collaboration and quality/safety work is required. The Clinical Nurse Attending prepares highly skilled nurses focused on improving quality and safety outcomes for patients or patient populations. The Clinical Nurse Attending assumes accountability for patient-care outcomes through the translation of evidence-based information to design, implement, and evaluate patient-care processes and models of care delivery. Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. (Required) Masterâ€s degree in related field (Preferred) Experience Five or more years of related experience in a health care setting. (Required) Certifications Current AZ RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required) National certification in area of specialty or related field acquired within the first 6 months of employment. (Required) Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required) Special Skills Ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate positive customer relations. (Required)
