You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.In this position...The Facilities Engineer supports day-to-day Plant Operations in a large, unionized automotive manufacturing Facility. This role is responsible for the safety and performance of all building and utility systems including HVAC, electrical distribution/switch gear, mechanical systems, industrial infrastructure and building while working closely with skilled trades, Operations, and Production teams. The Facility Engineer will lead continuous improvement, maintenance planning, and construction projects and ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and contractual requirements. You'll have... High school diploma / GED 5+ years of Facility, Plant Engineering, or Industrial Maintenance experience – UAW automotive preferred. Strong technical understanding of building systems, utilities, and industrial infrastructure. Demonstrable experience implementing continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologyStrong communication skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to work across diverse teams. Ability to work frequent weekend and daily overtime.Even better, you may have...Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or have similar equivalent experience.
