Typical Day in the Life
As a Tax Senior Associate you will be responsible for working with clients to assist them with the transition of wealth from one generation to the next. A typical day as a Tax Senior Associate might include the following:
Working with clients to ensure relevant tax-related information is gathered so that an accurate tax return can be prepared. Preparing fiduciary, estate, and gift tax returns by required deadlines. Working with the tax and wealth transition team to ensure the various components of the tax process are performed. Looking at the tax situation of the individual and their estate from various angles to ensure the maximum tax benefit is applied. Working with the national Wealth Transition Services team on various projects. Attending professional development and training seminars on a regular basis. Effectively interacting with all levels of staff, clients, and other external business contacts.Who You Are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and hold a valid CPA license or are working towards obtaining a CPA license (preferred); Enrolled Agent (EA) certification also accepted. You have 3 or more years of experience in public accounting tax work including experience with gift, trust and estate tax returns. You have good communication skills, both written and verbal. You are a multi-tasking master and there is never a deadline you can't meet. You enjoy keeping up-to-date on the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies. You have a knack for solving problems and easily notice issues while bringing solutions to the table.Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
Benefits and Compensation
Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
Salary range: $85,000-$110,000
Beyond base salary, Eide Bailly provides benefits such as: generous paid time off, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) profit sharing, life and disability insurance, lifestyle spending account, certification incentives, education assistance, and a referral program.
