Job TypePart-TimeLocationSalt Lake County, UTApplicants must be willing to travel throughout Northern Salt Lake Valley, Weber County, and Cache County area for work (Area includes Murray to Logan)Pay$20-$25 per hourPay varies by assignment and site requirementsMileage reimbursement provided at the standard IRS mileage rate (rate subject to annual change)ScheduleMonday through FridayEvenings onlyNo weekendsTypical start time: 5:30 PMTypical weekly hours: 15-20 hoursTypical shift length: 3-5 hours per eveningJob SummaryWSI Trash & Recycling Valet is building an applicant pool for Evening Field Support Leads to assist, monitor, and support nightly door-side to dumpster trash and recycling valet services at multifamily apartment communities across Northern Salt Lake Valley, Weber County, and Rich County Utah.This is a part-time evening leadership support role ideal for dependable individuals seeking supplemental income, hands-on field work, and a clear path toward advancement into higher operations roles.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and assist nightly trash and recycling valet routesProvide on-site support to Trash & Recycling Valet PortersStep in to perform collection duties when coverage or assistance is neededCollect bagged trash, recycling, and broken-down cardboard from apartment doorsTransport materials to dumpsters, trash chutes, or compactorsInspect recycling for contamination and ensure proper separationEngage professionally with residents and on-site managementIssue Educational Courtesy Compliance Notices and take required photosUpload documentation, photos, and notes using a mobile appClean loose trash around dumpster areas, chute rooms, and compactorsReturn equipment to designated storage areasAssist with:Training new team membersSupporting technician developmentCompleting Quality Assurance auditsOccasionally assist with pet waste stations, bag replacements, and common-area waste managementShift DetailsEvening shifts averaging 3-5 hoursWeekly hours typically range 15-20 hoursShift length may vary based on:Property size and layoutCoverage needsSeasonal or operational factorsPhysical RequirementsExtensive walking across apartment communitiesAscending and descending stairs at some propertiesLifting and carrying up to 50 lbsOutdoor work in varying weather conditionsSome assignments may require use of a personal open-bed pickup truckQualifications & RequirementsApplicants must be willing to travel throughout Northern Salt Lake Valley, Weber County, and Rich County area for work (Area includes Murray to Logan)Reliable, conscientious, and self-motivatedProfessional and courteous with residents and property staffValid Utah driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicleValid auto insurance as required by the roleMust be 18 years of age or olderAbility to speak, read, and write in EnglishMust possess a smartphone with active data plan and location services enabledMust be available Monday through Friday eveningsAble to meet physical demands of the rolePrior valet trash, porter, or field operations experience is helpful but not required.
