Chassis & Container Repair Technician Instructor

Job Description Lincoln Tech is hiring skilled Container and Chassis Repair technicians with exceptional mentorship, instruction, or management skills. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in welding, refrigeration unit service and repair, and container and chassis repair and maintenance. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to other team members, ensuring they are trained to the highest level of proficiency. Responsibilities Utilize approved course materials and teaching methods. Communicate and enforce school policies; advise students on attendance, grades, and discipline. Maintain containers and chassis to safety standards. Provide mentorship and training to team members. Facilitate student-centered learning and deliver objectives. Adhere to compliance with teaching methods and materials. Enforce policies, advise on academics, and maintain records. Develop learning aids and assessments; enrich teaching with personal experience. Collaborate with departments to support goals. Motivate students with professionalism and adjust to their learning styles. Keep accurate records of attendance and grades, and address concerns to management. Offer academic support, tutoring, and skills enhancement. Assist in developing learning aids and assessments. Participate actively with WFL and partner departments to support goals. Demonstrate professionalism and sensitivity to motivate students. Additional Requirements 5+ years’ experience in: Welding and Refer Unit service and repair. Container and Chassis repair and maintenance Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong command of public speaking Up to 50% travel - Charleston, SC area location Certifications required: IICL FMCSA Refrigerant Handling license Welding certification Full-Time Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans Disability, Life Insurance, and other voluntary plans 401(k) Retirement Plan with Company Match Paid Holidays and Paid Time Off Career Growth Opportunities Ongoing Training Support & Resources Click here to learn more.
