See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:Position Overview: The Senior Buyer and Procurement Project Management position is a high impact plant leadership role that is integral for strategic sourcing and planning within the site. This role serves on the Mercury Racing core leadership team and partners with plant leadership to support all manufacturing and engineering requirements and drive continuous improvement in supplier performance and cost to build competitive advantage for Mercury.A successful Senior Buyer and Procurement Project Manager will be a fast and keen learner of internal and external processes specific to Plant 36 operational needs. Autonomous strategic planning and problem solving is key to success. This is a high visibility role that requires strong communication skills and tact keeping senior leaders informed of project statuses and any items that require additional support. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chainStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsProficient in interpreting engineering drawings, APQP, and PPAPAdvanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, and ProjectExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesDemonstrated integrity and commitment to a high-performance, inclusive cultureCPM and/or CPIM certificationLean and Six Sigma certification and practical experienceThe anticipated pay range for this position is $84,500 to $136,100 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role.
