Ideal applicants don't mind getting dirty, can problem solve, have good communication skills, and can create positive interactions with our clients in the field**Please note, you will be expected to take a course and pass a state exam to become certified within the first 6 months of working with usAs an apprentice, you will learn how to:Conduct backflow inspections at existing sites, renovations, and new constructionsPerform troubleshooting and emergency repairs and some plumbing of/or related to backflow assemblies as necessary.Identify code and other non-compliant issues and make recommendations on repairs or preventive maintenance.Utilize and enter accurate information into field software to report inspection results.Qualifications:Valid Drivers License, with good driving record and willing to drive to multiple job sites each dayBasic experience with plumbing and mechanical systemsAble and willing to use apps and software in the fieldAble to carry and move tools and equipment up to 50-70 lbsAble to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions – climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within cabinets, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.Good verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently, with little supervision.Organized, systematic and adherent to deadlines.
