An icon in the Miami Beaches, located near Sunny Isles, this beachside hotel brings a new era of luxury, with celebrated dining and a world-class spa, to its Surfside shores.About the Role:The Housekeeping Supervisor is part of the Housekeeping Team and reports to the Director of Housekeeping.The Housekeeping Supervisor works with a highly skilled housekeeping team to ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing experience while in their rooms, that starts with ensuring the finest details are attended to, the bed is beautifully made, towels are neatly arranged, and all surfaces are spot free.What You Will Do:Develop and coach the team, participates and leads training events. Provides on-the job coaching for correcting room deficiencies. Assist with creating daily work assignments, and monitors room completion and productivity.Inspect completed rooms to ensure that all standards have been met. Complete work orders for room and public area repairs, and ensures work is completed. Release checkout rooms to be sold. Inspect guest corridors, stairwells, elevators and linen closets for cleanliness.Complete inventories of linens and all housekeeping supplies, and guest floor housekeeping supplies.Assist with responsibilities and duties of room attendant, house person or public area when necessary to cover absences, or high business volumes.About You:Two years’ experience as a leader in housekeeping.Understands the best practices for leadership and communication, has a positive attitude and works to motivate and inspire others.Able to communicate effectively in English, computer proficiency with Opera, HotSOS and REX systems is beneficial. Prefer bilingual in Spanish. Able to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed accuracy, follow through, and work with minimum supervision.
