Title of Position Pharmacy IV Technician - Pharmacy KMC Work Hours Regular Full-Time (Req# 2025-320) Varying 8-hour shifts with rotating days off, weekends, and holidays; 40 hours per week for full-time employees. Occasional overtime and schedule changes may be required. Casual Part-Time (Req# 2025-321) Varying shifts with rotating days off, weekends, and holidays; 8 hours per week Subsidiary Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position Performs duties primarily related to the preparation of I.V additive, chemotherapy, irrigating, and specialty solutions, maintaining high professional and ethical standards and quality of patient services rendered. Maintains computerized patient profiles; prepares labels; prepares patient charges; is responsible for many ancillary functions in the pharmacy in order to maintain an efficient and effective operation. A licensed pharmacist is required to check all work performed by an I.V. Technician. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Some college background preferred. One (1) year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred; or other experience in the healthcare setting (e.g., experience as a licensed practical nurse). Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred. Prior knowledge of metric system and medical terminology preferred; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position. Starting Hourly Rate $24.74
