Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• The operator will be responsible for the operation of various CNC machine tools, which include Lathes and Mills.
• The operator will be responsible for keeping the CNC machine tools running and checking the parts being run. This includes the operation of several machine tools at one time.
• The operator must be able to adjust offsets and locations, as well as change inserts and cutting tools, as necessary.
• The operator should have/or gain full knowledge and understanding of speeds, feeds, and surface callouts of the various machined parts.
• The operator must adhere to and follow Company safety procedures and continuously work and operate all machinery in a safe manner.
• The operator will be responsible for cleanup in and around the machines, as well as maintaining proper fluid levels.
Experience, Skills & Education
• 1-year machining experience or trade school training
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints. Must be able to utilize common machine shop measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc,) to inspect and qualify machined parts accordingly.
• Knowledge of machine shop practices is a must.
• Must communicate any machining errors, and or communicate corrective actions clearly and timely.
• Must be able to lift approximately up to 35 pounds.
The pay range for California is $44,000 to $58,000 per year. Individual salaries are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
