Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesThe Market Manager (ND, MN, NE IA) provides leadership and oversight of design and construction related activities for large,complex (up to $250 million dollars) and/or multiple smaller scale projects that could have an aggregate valueup to $250 million dollars. The Market Manager interfaces with Division Strategy and senior hospital leadershipfor capital project coordination and communication as appropriate. This position manages project objectives andensures financial control including project budgets, cash flow forecasting and management, and resolution ofproject risks and contingencies to ensure projects are completed with successful outcomes in quality, timelinessand cost effectiveness. This position reports directly to the Market Director and will supervise 4 or more SeniorProject Managers, and/or Project Managers.Responsible for scheduling and managing the project delivery process for all assigned projects.Leads the project team in establishing scope, schedule and budget and is responsible for maintaining the objectives throughout each phase of the project. Provides internal and external project communications to ensure all team members are advised of project status.Responsible for coordination between construction team, consultants and facility operations.Monitors construction activities to ensure conformance with approved documents and specifications, regulations, codes, standards and laws that are applicable to the project.Maintains relationships with approving authorities at the federal, state and local level.Participates in negotiating fees and business decisions for project vendors in accordance with CommonSpirit Health policies.Ability to follow instructions, analyze data, coordinate tasks and manage work load appropriately to meet business goals.Establish and maintain effective communication while adhering to expectations of professionalism and camaraderie with co-workers, peers, supervisors and all persons with whom this role must interact in furtherance of completing all job duties.Job RequirementsBachelors in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or Architectre and/or equivalent experience requiredMinimum 10+ years ofexperience in leading project management design and construction projects requiredThorough working knowledge of project construction budgets and controls requiredDemonstrated success in delivery of major healthcare capital projectsWhere You'll WorkInspired by faith.
