Sr. Manager, Analyst, Monitoring and Analytics

The Sr. Manager, Monitoring and Analytics will develop and execute monitoring controls and reporting for all facets of Managed Solutions. The Sr. Manager will partner closely with client services, technology, risk and legal associates to implement reporting and forensic frameworks that will validate the accuracy and precision of calculations and transactions, as well as working closely with fellow Default Solutions Team members and other associates on root cause analysis, mitigation and validation. Key Responsibilities and DutiesSupport the conception, definition, and development of key capabilities and features of the model management systemMaintain a holistic set of controls to support the flawless execution of the RetirePlus Series and detect issues early & mitigate them before they have a broad impact.Responsible for monitoring and analyzing ongoing activity across all plans enrolled in the RetirePlus SeriesReview volume & control total reports to identify red flags, anomalies & potential issues.Research results and items flagged by audits and control total reports to determine if there are any issues impacting multiple participants/plans.Identify the root cause, population impacted & fix that needs to be implemented for identified issues.Create and support interactive dashboards and reports to communicate complex analytics insights to non-technical stakeholders.Reviewing individual accounts based on random sampling, accounts identified through audits & reporting processes.Comparing accounts to the direction received by the participant to confirm they are properly invested.Accountable for achievement of agreed upon outcomes (e.g. timelines, quality, etc)Educational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredWork Experience5+ Years Required; 7+ Years PreferredPhysical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary WorkCareer Level8ICRequired:5+ years of data analyst or similar experienceExperience in designing and developing robust data pipelines for seamless data ingestion and transformation using Python and/or AlteryxKnowledge of principle, techniques, and best practices of data modeling and data quality.Direct experience with SQL analysis and reporting tools such as TableauPreferred:Familiar with TIAA’s institutional systems, processes, and proceduresBachelor’s Degree or equivalent of four (4) years of related work experienceExperience working with retirement plans and services.Experience working across functions / businesses in a matrix environment that may include Product, Marketing, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Technology, Client Relationship Sales, Client Services, etc.Familiar with TIAA’s investment and annuity productsUnderstand asset allocation and managed account products and servicesExperience with processes including creation and maintenance of documentationAdvance level experience with SQL scripts.Advanced proficiency in SQL development, including complex query optimization.Demonstrated ability to connect data and analysis to drive actions to make decisions in a consultative mannerProven ability to deliver results in a growing and changing environmentRelated SkillsBusiness Acumen, Business Process Improvement, Business Process Understanding, Communication, Compliance, Continuous Improvement Mindset, Detail-Oriented, General Risk Management, Influence, Relationship Management, Risk Mitigation, Risk MonitoringAnticipated Posting End Date:2025-12-13Base Pay Range: $81,800/yr - $131,000/yrActual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
