Job Description About the People Inc. Fellowship ProgramThe People Inc. Fellowship Program runs from June 2026 to May 2027. The program offers candidates the opportunity to gain experience working full-time in the office with some of our most popular brands. Fellows work full-time and earn $18/hr. About the Team:Located in Birmingham, Alabama, is the People Inc. Food Studios, a state-of-the-art facilityfeaturing 28 test kitchens, 13 photo studios, a prop and styling studio, an outdoor grill/BBQ station, andan expansive showcase kitchen and tasting room for demonstrations and events. Powered by a talentedteam of test kitchen professionals, stylists, and photographers, the People Inc. Food Studios is thecountry’s premier creative hub, producing thousands of world-class recipes, images, and related contentannually for People Inc.’s print, digital, and social platforms. Responsibilities will Include: Assist the food stylists with grocery shopping, recipe prep, and organization of kitchens and workspacesPrepare recipes on camera for hosted social videos Work with the Test Kitchen Coordinator to shop and the stock the pantries and cold-storage areas in the kitchenEnsure the workstations are stocked with ingredients before recipe preparationFollow your food stylist’s lead to prepare recipes for photographyFile all expense reports for accounting purposesAbout You: Candidates for this role should have:B.S., B.A., Culinary degree or equivalent professional cooking experienceFood styling assisting experience preferredYou have a thorough knowledge of food and cooking techniques and are inquisitive about food trendsYou’re a spirited self-starter and the first to tackle an obstacleYou have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-throughThe ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbout People Inc.: People Inc. is the largest digital and print publisher in America.
