Customer Service Supervisor

Supervises the activities of customer service personnel in the Department's Lobby and Production Section. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of specialized technical/clerical employees who engage in customer service/relations, new business, mailroom activities, and collection of service fees. Uses sophisticated equipment to prepare automated receipt and recording of revenue. Responds to complex customer inquiries regarding billing issues, payment arrangements, and collection/lien and bankruptcy procedures, service interruptions; analyzes billing reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Public Administration or related field; minimum of four (4) years of experience in customer service-related activities including six (6) months of customer service-related experience assigning, coordinating or directing the work of others.

Equivalencies:
1. Unrelated Bachelor's Degree and five (5) years of related experience including six (6) months of customer service-related experience assigning, coordinating or directing the work of others
2. Related Associate's Degree and six (6) years of related experience including six (6) months of customer service-related experience assigning, coordinating or directing the work of others
3. Unrelated Associate's Degree and seven (7) years of related experience including six (6) months of customer service-related experience assigning, coordinating or directing the work of others
4. Graduation from high school/equivalent recognized certification and eight (8) years of related experience including six (6) months of customer service-related experience assigning, coordinating or directing the work of others.

PREFERENCE FOR EXPERIENCE WITH: Training new employees; maintaining and monitoring inquiries regarding billing (must specify on application) ;monitoring employee statistics (must specify on application ); processing billing adjustments and explaining account transactions; working in a banking center/teller (must specify in application) .
