Job#: 3014157 Job Description: Sr. Product Analyst – eCommerceHybrid in Sunnyvale, CA day 1Roles & Responsibilities·Analyze customer behavior, funnel performance, and conversion drivers across web & app journeys.·Partner with Product Managers to define KPIs, measure feature impact, and inform roadmap prioritization.·Translate ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks and deliver actionable insights.·Perform deep dives into user acquisition, engagement, personalization, search, checkout, and post-purchase flows.·Design and execute A/B tests; evaluate experiment performance using statistical rigor.·Build dashboards and automated reporting to monitor business health and product performance.·Work closely with Engineering, UX, Merchandising, and Marketing to align recommendations and drive execution.·Support forecasting, opportunity sizing, and business case development for new product initiatives.·Identify upstream data issues, ensure data quality, and advocate for necessary instrumentation.·Present findings to senior leadership with clear storytelling, visualizations, and strategic recommendations.Technical Skills (Must-Haves)·SQL (advanced proficiency) – ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and work with large datasets.·Analytics tools – Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar data warehouses.·Product analytics platforms – Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar.·Data visualization – Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent.·Experimentation / A/B testing – Optimizely, LaunchDarkly, Eppo, or internal frameworks.·Strong statistical knowledge – hypothesis testing, regression, significance testing, sampling.·Scripting languages (nice-to-have but often preferred) – Python or R for deeper modeling.·Understanding of eCommerce metrics – CVR, AOV, CTR, add-to-cart, abandonment, LTV, retention.·Ability to work with large-scale, complex datasets and ensure data accuracy/integrity.Good-to-Have Skills·Experience with machine learning concepts (propensity models, recommendations, clustering).·Exposure to digital marketing analytics (SEO/SEM, attribution, media performance).·Familiarity with agile product development and tools like Jira/Confluence.·Understanding of UX research methods and how to pair qual + quant insights.·Knowledge of eCommerce platforms (, marketplace dynamics, item/catalog systems, fulfillment).·Experience with CI/CD experimentation pipelines or feature flagging systems.·Ability to create executive-level presentations and drive consensus across stakeholders.·Experience in a large-scale retail, eCommerce, or omnichannel environment.EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
