Our team helps children learn through play, exploration, and hands-on activities in a caring, supportive environment. If you enjoy working with young children and want to grow your career in early childhood education, this is a great opportunity to join a respected childcare center in the Ledgewood community. What You’ll Do Support the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom. Assist with implementing TLE’s play-based curriculum, including early language, social-emotional learning, and motor-skill development. Help guide positive behavior and encourage peer interaction. Participate in daily routines: meals/snacks, diapering/toileting, transitions, and rest time. Keep the classroom clean, organized, and engaging. Communicate positively with families and work collaboratively with the teaching team. What You Bring 6+ months of experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting (1 year preferred). High school diploma or GED required. CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus (or willingness to pursue). Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP). CPR/First Aid preferred. Must meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements.
