We are changing how care is delivered by bringing together people like you: compassionate, highly skilled, and motivated to make a differenceThe Cook is a vital team member who will serve as a leader in the kitchen, and work closely alongside the dietary director, dietary assistant, dietary aides, and cooks to guide all food functions implementing current federal state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern skilled nursing facilities, long term care and assisted facilities.Cook Responsibilities:This position is responsible for the timely meal preparation of all meals consistent with the posted dining schedule and approved menus.Cooks must be able to prepare meals in a timely manner and have time management skills.Cooks are also in charge of pulling and properly storing meat correctly.Making sure all temp logs and cleaning schedules are getting completed.Cook Requirements:High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience as a Cook or similar roleWorking in a Skilled Nursing Facility experience is a plusOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
