Almost 20,000 Students 10 Campuses Competency Based Education Online General Studies Adjunct - Mathematics Description South College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty Member for Mathematics. Under the direction of the Department Chair/Dean of General Education, the Adjunct Mathematics Instructor will provide on-campus instruction for General Education math courses including College Algebra, Statistics, Pre-Cal, and Calculus on a quarter-by-quarter appointment.ResponsibilitiesEvaluate students’ progressCommunicate with Faculty Leads for subject matter questionsReturn all graded assignments in a reasonable time frame according to South College expectations. Requirements Candidates must evidence the following:EducationA minimum of an acceptable master’s degree in Mathematics (doctorate preferred) or an earned master’s or doctoral degree and satisfactory completion of 18 graduate semester hours in MathematicsExperienceExperience teaching mathematics in an in-person classroom environment.
