Pipe Operator Trainee

We pay competitively based on performance and provide excellent benefits. Summary:Extrusion Operator is responsible for running extrusion machines, packing and moving pipe to storage location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Starting up extruder, monitoring material flow, making adjustments to extruder and downstream equipment as needed.Inspecting and identifying poor quality pipe using micrometer, pie tape, etc.Packing pipe per standards with strapping tool, weighing pipe and moving to designated storage area with forklift.Keeping work area up to 5S housekeeping standards including operating sweeper as necessary.Responsible for performing minor repairs on pipe racks, printers, etc.Assisting set-up instructor as necessary.Assisting Tool & Die and Maintenance personnel in repair of equipment. Job Requirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredAbility to work 12 hour, night shiftAbility to frequently lift up to 50 poundsSubmit to and successfully complete background check and pre-employment drug testComputer and mechanical ability preferredWe Offer:Pay for Performance CompensationTuition Reimbursement up to $3,000 per yearHealth and Fitness Club Membership ReimbursementWellness ProgramsPaid Time-OffEmployee Recognition ProgramsNational Guard and Reserve PaySuccessful Team ApproachOpportunities for Career Advancement Benefits Include:Our associates enjoy a safe and positive working environment with opportunities for growth through training and advancement from within the Company.
