When you join our team, you'll consult with customers to improve new product outcomes, identify promising ideas, develop compelling consumer propositions, and validate in-market activities.SA&I helps clients optimize and prioritize their portfolios through predictive innovation insights & accurate activation forecasting. With the end-goal of improving new-product outcomes, we provide consultation to help clients identify their best ideas, arrive at their most compelling consumer proposition, and validate their in-market activity to fully realize trial and repeat potential.This is a hybrid position in Chicago.Job DescriptionAs a Research Analyst on the SA&I team, you’ll use your analytical and consultative skills to help clients make better, faster, and smarter decisions.Client servicing dutiesWork on projects across a variety of large & small clients, in various industries or categories.Produce high-quality client deliverables in partnership with your Client Consulting team.Participate in client discussions/presentations and work through implications and recommendations based on the data.Support the development of your client(s) through training related to consumer demand principles, value-added projects and meta-analysis.Analytical dutiesDevelop and set up research projects based on the client brief and business objectives.Analyze study results, summarize data and draft reports and presentations.Personal developmentIn your first year at Strategic Analytics & Insights, you will benefit from a lot of training in order to develop a strong understanding of successful innovation and what drives in-market sales for new products.You will benefit from the support of a well-connected network of expert teams from around the world.QualificationsWe are looking for curious, collaborative and forward-thinking people, who are natural learners and would like to develop in the research market in the future. Going into the details, you should have:Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Marketing/Market Research, or related fields (Economics, Engineering, Math, Statistics, Liberal Arts).Strong analytical skills with a desire to continuously improve.Excellent time management and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.High attention to detail with the ability to deliver high-quality results.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate data into clear, compelling stories that will resonate with the client.Demonstrate ability to execute against projects for a variety of innovative products and develop a basic working knowledge of consumer and marketing drivers of sales volume.Interest in quantitative and qualitative market research.Familiarity with statistical tools (, SPSS, R, Stata) and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).Minimum cumulative GPA: #LI-HybridAdditional InformationThis role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $48,000- $62,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
