We encourage you to apply if you think you might be a good match.Concorde Battery Corporation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize mechanical components for lead-acid batteries. This role involves working with the engineering team developing robust, lightweight, and vibration-resistant designs that meet stringent aerospace standards for safety, reliability, and FAA/Military certification. This is a full-time position that will work on-site in West Covina, reporting to the VP of Engineering. Time is split between the office and manufacturing floor. This position requires a candidate to be approachable, and have good intrapersonal skills, conversing with management and entry level manufacturing employees. Position Responsibilities:Design components and/or batteries based on a set of requirements and constraints and oversee the project from concept to production.Design, develop, and improve, assembly tooling.Troubleshoot fabrication and assembly issues.Use SolidWorks to develop models and detailed drawings for aerospace-grade manufacturing.Ensure designs comply with FAA, Military, and OEM standards, operational limitations, and other requirements.
