About The RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer with our Marketplace team, you will design and implement solutions on a team focused on supporting our massive and rapidly growing agent workforce that executes manual tasks and performs AI training. This team is building an “Uber for the services industry” - we match clients that need repetitive knowledge work done efficiently and at quality with skilled humans that can provide that service. We build software products to manage pricing, talent onboarding, quality frameworks, talent mobility, demand forecasting, and the other complex features required by a dynamic and globally distributed marketplace.  What You’ll DoYou will work in tight coordination with your peer engineers, product managers and designers to build well-architected, scalable, reliable and user-friendly systems. You will:  Plan and collaborate on projects within your teamMentor junior engineers on the team on best practices and design patternsDrive domain and data modeling, design APIs, and participate in design and architectural reviews. Understand, build and influence multiple systems.Develop runbooks and participate in an on-call schedule for your team.Be a champion of Invisible’s culture.  What We Need 6+ years of software engineering work experience.Demonstrated experience delivering well-tested code that has significant and measurable business impact.Demonstrated experience mentoring junior engineers and having teamwide impact. Experience with one or more of these technologies: Frontend using React.Backend using Python Web Frameworks (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.)Data Management Systems (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka, etc.)Cloud Deployment using Kubernetes (with observability) Experience with agile methodologies and the art of delivering software at high quality and on schedule. Experience working with fully remote teams is a plus.  What’s In It For YouWe believe in recognizing exceptional work with exceptional benefits.
