We are seeking an experienced Professional Land Surveyor (PSM) to lead and grow our surveying operations in Fort Myers, Florida. This is a high-impact leadership role for a licensed surveyor who thrives on managing teams, overseeing projects, and contributing to business development in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and manage survey crews and staff, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient project delivery.Oversee operations including staffing, budgeting, resource allocation, and scheduling.Support business development efforts by building strong client relationships and promoting surveying services.Manage diverse projects with a strong focus on construction and residential surveys, ensuring compliance with all applicable survey standards and regulations.Collaborate closely with internal service managers, project managers, and CAD staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.Establish and maintain policies and procedures that support organizational growth and excellence.QualificationsActive Florida PSM license required.10+ years of progressive surveying experience with strong leadership and project management skills.Previous experience managing multiple crews and staff is strongly preferred.Background in construction and residential survey projects is a plus.About the OpportunityJoin a well-established team of ~15 staff in Fort Myers, including senior directors, CAD support, and project managers.Play a critical role in strengthening and expanding the Florida Survey Department.Salary range: $120,000 – $130,000+, commensurate with experience.Primarily an in-office role in Fort Myers, though hybrid flexibility may be considered for the right candidate.
